Why incest is bad for society

Quite simple honestly, if you get a lot of incest, you'll end up with a less healthy society. <br><br>If you have a lot of incest, you'll have a lot of babies born with birth defects (often caused by inbreeding). The more of these babies, the more of a tax-burden on society. Hospitals are expensive, as are special care and therapy. <br><br>The more babies born with birth defects, the more babies that will die young and cause grief to the parents. We should all try to prevent death of young babies, as it causes immense pain to the families. <br><br>Furthermore, some birth defects will cause the children to suffer. They will be sick, and in pain for their whole lives. We should all work to prevent the suffering of children, as it is cruel. <br><br>Therefore, incest is very bad for society, and we should work to prevent it.
