Question about trip insurance if I'm sick during trip

I purchased trip insurance for my trip to Japan this week. I'm wondering if my trip insurance would cover me if I become ill or get an injury while traveling in Japan and need medical attention. <br><br>Prior to this trip, I always thought that trip insurance just covered unexpected trip cancellation or trip interruption, but the policy I purchased also includes medical emergency coverage as well as trip delay and trip interruption. I also purchased a CFAR (cancel for any reason) insurance policy as well. I'm a little stressed about catching COVID-19 and feeling sick during my trip. <br><br>If I were to feel unwell and need to visit the hospital or get admitted into the hospital in Japan, I would be able to cancel my trip or interrupt my trip and file a claim with my trip insurance provider to get reimbursed for the medical expenses I incurred in Japan and get reimbursed for my remaining trip expenses, is that right?
