My dad had the most amazing experience volunteering at an Israeli hospital in Jerusalem. He had crossed so many things off his bucket list in the course of a few short months. He had volunteered in an Israeli hospital, visited the old city, floated in the Dead Sea, learned a bit of Hebrew, and even visited a few Israeli settlements.<br><br>At the hospital, he had been given a chance to see what everyday Israeli life is like, and was able to be a part of a unique cultural experience. He was inspired by the resilience of the Israeli people, and saw firsthand how people from all walks of life lived together and supported one another. He had the chance to practice his Hebrew, meet new people, and learn about the history and culture of the area.<br><br>He knew that the experience he had would stay with him forever, and that he would always treasure the time he had spent volunteering in Israel.
