What if "the new normal" was a normal plus size?

I was thinking to myself while looking at a photo of Jennifer Coolidge. She does not fit the Hollywood weight loss machine that has been the standard in my lifetime. She is not in the plus size normal range. No matter what, the Hollywood machine prevents it from showing on TV or in films. You can see it as the "plus size women" are a size 8. Jennifer Coolidge is not. She is a woman that would never be looked at twice in real life. The perfect example was the line from American Pie, "there's a fat chick in a blue dress". It was something to laugh at. I wonder what it would be like if Hollywood presented a "plus size woman" as just a normal women. It just seems like it's something we don't see.
