If you think endless wars are terrible, and that the US is not to be trusted, you're the enemy and viewed as a traitor

Even on this sub, there is this pervasive fear that the US is being used to advance the agenda of some other country. That's the real enemy, that's the real issue.<br><br>The real enemy is the US's own government. It's the US's own military. It's the US's own intelligence agencies and spy networks. It's the US's own financial system and it's shareholders. <br><br>The US is a global empire. A global empire is inherently antagonistic towards the notion of national sovereignty. Viewed through that lens, the US's actions make a lot more sense.<br><br>Militarism is the lifeblood of empires to expand and maintain their reach. That is why the US is always at war. For 250 years, the US has been waging war after war against neighboring nations to expand the empire. The US military is a tool of terror to keep people afraid, same as murder and assassinations and coups are tools to control populations. That is why the US military is by far the most brutal and destructive force in history.<br><br>The US empire is maintained and expanded by military might, not by the free market. The US is not some beacon of capitalism, it's a strong arm thug that uses violence and intimidation to get what it wants. That is why the US has altered the map of the world since WW2, absorbing territories and installing dictator after dictator to pillage and plunder resources.<br><br>The US's own intelligence agencies have been proven to have endless meddling in foreign elections and coups and assassinations. Not because they truly believe these nations are a threat to the US, but because they are a threat to the US's control over them.<br><br>The US government and media doesn't talk about the US's own human rights violations because they are categorically denied as being human rights violations. The US's own prisons are supposed to be some bastion of human decency and rehabilitation. The US's own wars are to spread democracy and freedom and human rights. The US's own military interventions are necessary to protect the US from some evil dictator or terrorist group. The US's own intelligence agencies are necessary to spy on us in order to protect us. <br><br>The US's own banks and corporations are shown to be some of the best run businesses in the world. That to be successful, you have to somehow follow the US's model of business. That the US is the epicenter of safe haven to store your wealth.<br><br>That's all bullshit.
