LPT: If you're trying to give up milk, it might be worth investing in a milk frother. You can make a milk alternative that is a really good clone of milk, and at a far lower cost.

I used to be a big milk drinker, but the local milk supply is 3.5% fat, 4% sugar and costs $4 a gallon. Regardless of whether you think cow milk is bad for you, the 4% sugar is definitely not great. The grocery store alternatives (nut milks, oat milks, etc.) are 0 or 1% sugar, but cost $5 a half gallon or more.

I found that if I buy a nut milk base powder, mix up a liter of it, then run it through my milk frother with some creamer, it tastes just like milk. Only this batch has 0.2% sugar and costs $1.50 a liter.

I'm sure there are other methods to clone milk, but this one works for me. If you're trying to give up milk, it might be worth trying this yourself.
