My husband admitted he didn’t expect anyone to want to fuck a 42 year old woman when he asked for open marriage

Initially I wrote a very long post with our whole backstory but before posting it I deleted the entire thing. It didn’t really matter how we got here but here we are. He asked for open marriage after 20 years of happy marriage because he wasn’t attracted to me anymore even though he still loved me. Maybe it was midlife crisis or just forms of erectile dysfunction who knows. We talked it through and I agreed to it with the condition that he wouldn’t bring strange women to our marital bed. <br><br>He had few one night stands, nothing too weird. Until he met her. A 19 years old intern at his workplace. He was 46. Since then he was hooked on her (or something else) and soon he started coming home later and later. Weeks ago I found lingerie and high heels in his car and when I confronted him he said he needed change of scenery and it’s nothing personal. I should’ve left him then and there. Last week he admitted he was in love with her and wanted a divorce. <br><br>I still love him and I won’t beg him to stay but I’m hurt he’s leaving a beautiful life we built together for someone who’ll dump him in couple months. Last night he was in bed watching tv next to me, reading something on his phone when he was suddenly shaking and almost crying. I asked what was it and he wouldn’t say initially but then showed me a text. It was a message from little mistress, telling him she’s not sure she’s in love with him and she needs some time off. His tears stopped once I told him “you didn’t expect anyone wanting to fuck a 42 years old woman but it turned out they want a 19 years old one instead”.
