Uber says data on 57 million users and drivers was exposed in a hack

The ride-sharing company said it had paid hackers $100,000 to delete the data, which also included driver’s license numbers.<br><br>The hackers accessed addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and names. Uber said that it believed the hackers did not access credit card numbers, Social Security numbers or location history.
