This may not be well known to some. I’m not entirely sure, but I hope it can help some people out.<br><br>The first time I learned about this I was eating at a Mexican restaurant. I wanted to try their fresh limeade. They gave me a big glass, but with a slice of lime floating in it. I didn’t like having the lime in there because I like drinking the whole glass quickly, and I would be afraid of swallowing the slice. Then, the waiter said to me “don’t you drink that?” pointing at the glass. I looked at it and said “how would I do that?” He replied “well, you’re holding it already.” Then he grabbed the slice, squeezed it into the glass and said “there, now it tastes even better.” I tried it and he was absolutely right, the drink did taste even better and the flavor was much more consistent. It’s easier to squeeze the lime in because you’re already holding the glass. So, the next time you have a slice of lemon or lime, try cutting it into wedges and squeezing it into the drink that way. It’s much easier, and you’ll be able to enjoy the drink more.
