There is a worldwide ban on anything sexual in nature. The punishment is death. Why do people keep ignoring the warnings and breaking the law?

Princess Lilyana sighed and rubbed her temples. She had been hearing the same old phrase over and over again for the past hour now, and it's starting to drive her crazy. <br><br>"Just ignore her and she'll go away."<br><br>Luckily for her though, her father was the king, and he could order the old woman to get out of his daughters sight. Unfortunately for Lilyana however, the old woman was a member of the council, and she had somewhat of a higher rank then the king. <br><br>"You may order me to leave, your majesty, but I won't leave until I get some answers.", the old woman said. <br><br>"Why would you even care? It's not like it's your job to deal with this stuff." Lilyana said. <br><br>"Oh, but it is." The old woman said. <br><br>"Why?" Lilyana asked. <br><br>"Because every time we catch one of them, they say your name." The old woman said. <br><br>"That makes no sense. Why would they even do that?" Lilyana asked. <br><br>"I was hoping that you could tell me. After all, you are the one they are talking about." The old woman said. <br><br>"I don't even know what you are talking about." Lilyana said. <br><br>"Then that would be a lie." The old woman said. <br><br>"How dare you! I am the princess! Without my father's permission, you would be beheaded for saying something like that!" Lilyana said. <br><br>"You would have to catch me first, your highness." The old woman said, before she disappeared in an instant. <br><br>"What the...?! How did she even do that?!" Lilyana asked. <br><br>"I don't know, but we need to tell your father about this. He needs to know." One of the guards said. <br><br>Lilyana nodded in agreement, before she followed one of the guards to her fathers room. <br><br>"Father, I need to tell you something." Lilyana said. <br><br>"What is it, Lily?" The king asked. <br><br>"The councilwoman came and-"<br><br>"I am busy right now, Lily. I have more important things to deal with." The king said. <br><br>"But father, this is really important!" Lilyana said. <br><br>"Fine. The councilwoman came and what?" The king asked. <br><br>"She said that all of the people who get caught breaking the law and claim that they saw me giving them permission to do so, when in reality, I don't even know them." Lilyana said. <br><br>"Then they are lying. I am the only one who may give permission to break the law, and I have not given permission to anyone but the royal guard and council." The king said. <br><br>"See, I told you that she was lying. But the weird thing is, is that she somehow disappeared in an instant." Lilyana said. <br><br>"That makes no sense. Did you see her teleport or something? Because there is no way that someone could just disappear in an instant unless they teleported." The king said. <br><br>"No, I didn't see her teleport though. It was more like she just warped out of existence or something." Lilyana said. <br><br>"I am afraid that is impossible, Lily. No one can just warp out of existence." The king said. <br><br>"I know, and that's why I'm bringing this up to you, because it's weird and I thought that you should know," Lilyana said. <br><br>"Yes, well thank you for letting me know, Lily." The king said. <br><br>"You're welcome, father." Lilyana said. <br><br>"You may go now, Lily." The king said. <br><br>"Yes, father." Lilyana said, before she got up and left the room. <br><br>Now alone, the king couldn't help but think of his daughter. <br><br>"No one can just warp out of existence."<br><br>"Yes, that's true, but Lilyana can."<br><br>The king sighed and rubbed his temples. <br><br>"Do I really have to do this? Do I really have to kill my own daughter just because of a gift that she has? I mean sure, it's a big threat to the law, but still, it's my daughter."<br><br>"Lilyana thinks that she is keeping it a secret from everyone, but in reality, the council knows what she is capable of doing."<br><br>The king sighed. <br><br>"I have no choice. I have to kill her."<br><br>The next morning, the king stood before his daughter with a knife at her throat. <br><br>"I'm sorry Lily, but I have no choice... I have to kill you!" The king said, before his face was sliced off by a piece of metal that came out of no where. <br><br>The king fell to the ground, dead. <br><br>"What the...?! Who did this?!" One of the guards said. <br><br>"I did. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get the princess somewhere safe." The old woman said, before she used her scabbard to block a sword that was coming straight for her. <br><br>"You are under arrest!" The guards said. <br><br>"Why? What did I do?" The old woman said. <br><br>"You just murdered the king!" The guards said. <br><br>"Oh. Well then, you need to get out of my sight before I murder you too." The old woman said, before she sliced the guards in half. <br><br>"Why would you do that? Now you'll definitely get punished." Lilyana said. <br><br>"Punished? Ha! You are the one who should be punished, not me!" The old woman said. <br><br>"Why? What did I do?" Lilyana asked. <br><br>"You know exactly what you did. You killed that sweet little girl and turned her into a cold blooded killer like the rest of us." The old woman said. <br><br>"What are you talking about? I would never do that." Lilyana said. <br><br>"Oh really? Because that's not what the girl said. She told me exactly how you used her and then you discarded her like she was nothing but trash. You made her realize what she is truly capable of doing, and you used that to your advantage. And once you were done with her and she was of no use to you anymore, you got rid of her like she was nothing but trash." The old woman said. <br><br>"I did not! I would never do something like that." Lilyana said. <br><br>"Then why did she tell me that? Why did she tell me that you were the one who forced her to kill all of those people and break the law? Do you know what the punishment for breaking the law is? It's death. And because of you, that poor little girl is going to get beheaded and have all of her property burned and destroyed, and there is nothing that we can do to stop it." The old woman said. <br><br>"Why would she even say that? She knows that it's not true." Lilyana said. <br><br>"I don't know, but she told me that you were the one who did it. She said that you were the reason that she is going to get beheaded and have all of her property burned and destroyed." The old woman said. <br><br>"Well then, we have to tell them that it's not true." Lilyana said. <br><br>"We already tried that. They won't listen to us. It's not like we have any proof or anything that we can use to prove that the girl was lying." The old woman said. <br><br>"Well then we need to find a way to get some evidence. We need to find a way to prove that she was lying." Lilyana said. <br><br>"I already told you, we can't do anything. The girl won't tell us the truth, and we already told them that she was lying, but like I already said, they won't listen. The only thing that we can do is get the girl out of here before they catch her." The old woman said. <br><br>"That's not true. There has to be something that we can do to help her." Lilyana said. <br><br>"Then find it." The old woman said. <br><br>"I will." Lilyana said. <br><br>The old woman nodded, before she grabbed Lilyana's arm and dragging her away. <br><br>"I am going to take you somewhere safe, and then I am going to go and find that poor little girl so that I can take her somewhere safe as well. And once we are all safe, we are going to have a long talk. You are going to tell me why you did what you did, and then you are going to tell me what you are really capable of doing." The old woman said. <br><br>"I am not going to tell you anything." Lilyana said. <br><br>"Oh, but you are. Now come on." The old woman said. <br><br>Lilyana tried to struggle, but the old woman was too powerful for her, so she couldn't struggle out of her grasp. <br><br>"Why are you doing this? I don't want to leave." Lilyana said. <br><br>"You don't have a choice. Now come on." The old woman said. <br><br>"I'm not going to let you do this! Guards! Come quick!" Lilyana screamed. <br><br>"Lily, stop it! Guards, do not listen to her! This is an order from the king, you are not to listen to a single word that the princess says until further notice." The old woman said. <br><br>"Yes, ma'am." The guards said. <br><br>The old woman smiled. <br><br>"You shouldn't have killed my little sister, Lilyana. Now you are going to have to pay the price." The old woman said, before she punched Lilyana in the face, sending her to the ground. <br><br>"Why...why would you do that? She was just a little girl! How could you do something like that?"
