AITA for refusing to stop having children until I'm good?

My wife and I have 4 kids. We are expecting another. It's been tough but I know I can do this. I'm a professor and I am working on a new program that will hopefully increase my salary. I have been checking my wife's text messages because she has been texting with a male co-worker. I found out she wanted to divorce me because she is unhappy. I also found out from one of her friend that she wants to leave me because "I'm not good with money." Her friend also said I'm "not a good enough father" because I take my job seriously and work long hours. Her friend also said her husband is a better father and husband because he "plays with his kids and earns a lot."<br><br>I am stopping having children once my salary increases. I don't want to bring any more children into the world if she is going to grow attached to them and abandon them. I don't want to be a single parent. I don't want to be in this marriage anymore either. AITA?
